homophobia in the U.S.
Homophobia is when someone thinks or acts negatively about gay people. This is a popular issue in the U.S., and it needs to stop. There is always someone that gets harassed over their sexuality and it is getting out of hand. People in the gay community are called slurs and get bullied when they come out and they wish they never were gay and think that they are dumb. The leading cause of depression in the gay community is being bullied and harassed by others. People in the gay community will always be bullied and harassed for their sexuality but we need to just lower the amount of bullying of gay people and the depression rate will be greatly reduced. People in the U.S. never understand that discrimination is never ok and that it needs to stop.
