Unknown
A needle and a vein that’s all he needs
A entry point that always bleeds
A fiery hell that that supersedes me
A life given with no second chances
Always taking defensive stances
Just to make the pain go away
So insecure and unsure pulled down the wrong path
A promising future yanked from his grasp
On his wrists a sliver clasp
With no turning back this will be his last
He’s all alone
His friends all gone away
For the price of love he just can’t pay
He fights with all the words he just can’t say
He believed a needle and a vein would
Get him through the day
He never sleeps and never finds ease
A life that’s wasted
A life that’s gone
A mirror with a thousand stares that are just so wrong
Poison controls him through his veins
Wrapping him in the fiery flames
That bound him with the metal chains of yesterday
Behind his eyes I know he cries
Pieces of his heart break under hurt
Empty and broke
All he has is himself to behold
A needle and a vein that’s all he needs
Just to take away the pain
And give him some kind of gain
A entry point that always bleeds
A fiery hell that supersedes me
The man he has become is so unknown
