Christmas
Christmas morning is when the big kid comes out of me. Sitting next to the Christmas tree opening presents I feel that being good all that year was worth it. The smell of eggnog floating through the house. The candy-canes hanging off the tree. The bulbs glistening from the lights. The beautifully wrapped presents sitting under the tree ready to be opened. My little sister jumping out of her bed looking for what Santa brought her that night. Christmas dinner being warmed. Christmas outfits layed out on the beds. Ready for the events to begin we get ready to play with our toys and feast with family.
