In Wake of Scandals, College Worth Come from Within
I agree with Maria Proulx in her article "In Wake of Scandals, College Worth Comes from Within" about questioning if prestigious schools guaranteeing success. The recent college scandals have provided the evidence that prestigious schools are favoring "the rich and powerful" because wealthy people are people to bribe admissions officers with millions of dollars. The admission process has no formula because many students with good grades and other valuable factors are rejected, but wealthy teens whose parents pay others to take the SAT and other tests. Teens have to succeed on their own rather than depending on a prestigious schools so that they can succeed.Thank you, Maria for explaining how teens need to overcome obstacles to succeed, and not to attend the best colleges because of the scandals that have occurred in Ivy League schools.
