Not Man Enough
I agree with Erik Posadas in his article “Not Man Enough.” In today’s society, men are often ridiculed if they have traits that make them more feminine. Gender roles have been ingrained into human beings since childhood. However, we should not have to fall into the categories of what a “man” or a “woman” should be. Everyone is their own person and we should be allowed to be ourselves without being made fun of. As Erik states, “It what makes us unique.” Being ourselves is unique. The sooner we begin to break away from these societal roles, the sooner everyone will be able to show their unique selves to the world. Thank you, Erik for bringing up these roles that we shouldn’t have to fill.
