This is What They're Dealing With MAG
I read "This is What They're Dealing With" and it made me think about my mom.
My mom is a lesbian. I don't live with her, but I've met some of her girlfriends. I liked this story because I know how Daryl realized how people treat homosexuals. I have never heard anyone make fun of my mom. I even told my friends and kids at school she's a lesbian. People didn't seem to care.
But then one day I saw a kid being made fun of. Kids were saying, "He looks, acts and talks like a f----t." These were the same kids I had told about my mom.
I don't think people should be judged on who they like. I just want to say Daryl was great to explain to people all across the world how he feels. Maybe he changed someone's perspective. Thank you for publishing this.
