The Last Time I Cried
the writing titled “The Last Time I Cried,” written by Leah C., talks about when she cried herself to sleep. Her writing left me feeling sad.
I really enjoyed reading this article. I enjoyed it because I can relate to it. I am not surprised someone wrote about this because everyone has nights that aren’t the best. This article is written well by staying on topic and expressing all her emotions throughout it. I enjoyed when the author says, “So I begged, /Whoever was listening,/ let me feel.” I like the quote because it shows that she would do anything just to feel something. I also enjoyed when the author said, “I cried for house/ And wished I could go back to/ Not feeling.” I like this quote because it shows that sometimes felling hurts more than not feeling anything at all.
