Review of Emily J's Poem the Word
I agree with the articles message, which coaches should care about their players. I can relate to this because I would want my coaches to care about issues I am having. I was surprised that her coaches said “you’ll be fine” because if I told my coach I was being hurt by other players, then I would expect him to handle it. I wouldn’t have the same relationship with my coach that I do now. This article is written well. When she says, “I had no desire to ever be the type of person who makes others feel unwelcome or unsafe” this shows that she wants to be a good person. This article made me feel good inside because she learns to be a good person after all of this.
