Goodbye
I love how you can get to me so easily. We haven't talked in 4 months but I can still hear your voice, clear as a ringing bell. I said it before, I miss you. Nothing has ever felt like this. On the last night, you called me. I was sick, but you wouldn't let me get off the phone because you wanted to be sure I was okay. Before we hung up, for the thousandth time, you told me you loved me. Only to call me back 30 minutes later to say you had feelings for my best friend. I never saw it coming. If you really loved me, you would not have let her and her twisted ways get to you. The funny thing is, I even warned you about the games she would play. I guess you just didn't listen. Maybe, one day, you'll look back and regret saying goodbye.
