Nightmare
I lay in my bed
And rest my eyes to sleep
Chills overhead
The voices begin to weep
Weeping in the faint sound of a siren
Ringing like bells on a cocktail ring
Lingering above;unknown to be seen
The witch riding backs of Frightened Fiends.
Wake as you try, but she holds on tight
Speak as you like, but she's done such fright
Scream as you would, only a whisper to the night
The witch is there, but out of line sight
Cry, wish you could, but the tears never roll
Rise, as you attempt, but prison is your hold
Struggle for time; She had her turn
Release is now, when your ears burn
Rupture is your body, as the ride is over
Silent is the air, but you tend to speak.
Rise is your body; the hands are gone
Cry are your eyes,as sobs turns to moans
