World Out My Window
The greens
The blues
So vibrant
And alive
They move
With the wind
And it brings to me
A smile
The leaves hug the trees
And the flowers dance wild
This is the world
That lays out my window
The birds sing at the sun
The wind howls at the moon
Water flows over rocks
Leaves dance on the wind
Chipmunks play a game of tag
Bees rush from flower to flower
It’s all a show
Right out my window
Stars are shining
The moon glowing
Satellites fly throw the night
Bats whoosh pass my window
Crickets sing to the dark
It’s all a show
Right out my window
So many beautiful
And glorious things
Enormous and small
Fast and slow
Rain or shine
Right at my grasp
It’s the world
That sits right out my window
