Drip Drop Drip Drop
Drip Drop Drip Drop
Tears mix with rain puddles
as shallow as your soul.
The umbrella is leaking
so I throw it away
to dance in the rain,
laughing through the pain.
Your final goodbye is spoken
the water that soaks me bore witness to it.
The sunlight pokes out
to find me splashing in the mud,
cursing the golden rays
that lead me home,
and lead you to me.
