Flashes of You
Your words are glorious splendors
that become eminent in the tropic winds
and in the dying night
symphonies of blazing violins.
You and I…entwined
between the furious, raging waters
of a past desperately forgotten
and a future being forged.
Your eyes are golden keys
that become warming consolations
to the opening gates
of life’s darkest mysteries.
You can sing the melodies
that capture the tunes of me
and harmonies that whisper
of loving entities.
Together we unite
like rain drops in a storm
becoming only one
conforming to a single chime
that appears like colors in the sky.
To fall more in love with you
and let go of what I’ve held on to
desperately chasing after you
and a place I belong with you.
You can steal my place in time
replacing all my memories
and reaching me
miraculously bringing me to life.
Dance with me within the shadows
of the mid-day sun
revealing the secret
that will never set us apart.
