Shades of Yellow
Can you not see what shines in the night sky,
Just as we do?
What makes a person better, or worse?
The shade of your hate is staining my world
Its spilling
Overflowing
Erasing
The greengray color of love erased
By red and orange and brown and
Don’t tell me you don’t care
I know the truth
I see it in those pools of watercolor
Faded,
But visible.
Create a path back to yourself
Green Red Gray
It’s the same when mixed
If mixed
It becomes nothing but
Black
Swallowing you whole
Eating you
Tearing you apart
Spreading you thin and laying it thick
There is no escape
Turn back now
Turn back to me
Don’t leave me
I cant save you
But I can
Decorate
Create
And Rebuild you.
