Life is an uphill climb,

A constant battle,

A race with time.

You shiver and shake,

Alone in the dark,

Or smile in the light,

Where it shines bright.

No in between,

No sugar coating it,

For life is cruel,

And unforgiving.

Those like me,

Who have yet,

To find their place,

Are stuck in a dark race.

Yes. I get it. Lately I feel so depressed and hopeless over the mess that is all people and how there are no good people and nobody has a truly happy life.
