Barely there.
Broken sobs,
Tangled hair.
Stepping off,
Inside breaking.
Falling faster,
Body aching.
Soft breeze
Touching skin.
World tilting,
Starts to spin.
Almost there,
Almost free.
Almost there,
Losing me.
Hard ground,
Broken bones.
Soft bed,
Not home.
Body gone,
Mind too.
Thoughts missing,
Words untrue.
Tears streaking
Soft cheeks.
Hours to days,
Days to weeks.
Falling faster,
Inside aching.
Hitting ground,
Body breaking.
Kisses flutter,
Light and soft.
Kisses from a
Butterfly.
