It echoes through these walls
Its loud sound is deafening
Ears screach in pain,
to the harsh sound
Sometimes its quiet,
but never goes away
Its whispers can be heard,
listening is all it takes

I love how much you're able to communicate in less than 10 lines; it's very dynamic.

I like this poem. The thought of listening for silence among other great visualized sounds makes this pleasing.

Great poem, shows how hard silence can be sometimes.

Really makes you think about silence.
Beautiful. Well done.

"and the salt in my wounds isn't burning anymore than it used to. It's not that I don't feel the pain. It's just I'm not afraid of hurting anymore. And the blood in these veins isn't pumping any less than it ever has and that's the hope I have, the only thing I know that's keeping me alive." - Paramore (Last Hope)

It's so descriptive and beautiful. I love it!
