Soon the Skies Will Open
the flower's head, it droops and bends
reaching for the ground
hoping when it gets to it
it will be safe and sound
for even flowers have their troubles
even flowers have their fears
even flowers lose their petals;
their petals are their tears
what the flower doesn't know
is that when the sun does shine,
with its superior glow,
everything will be just fine
and when the dark clouds hover,
when the skies turn grey,
there's no need to take cover,
no need to hide away
soon the skies will open
and you'll be stronger than before
for your sake, my flowers,
I hope when it rains, it pours
