Younglings falling numb and dumb
To the first arts of human nature
Making them drop the deep though
And pick up the buds, fluids and needles
An ominous brush stroke of bleach
In the diverse and complex painting of life
The artist sheds tears from his brush
He has no will upon the choosing of the colors

The author's comments:
written on a windy day. It talks about wasting life.. not only by drugs and alcohol but by ruining this world and making it a bad painting.
