The Workshop
Nothing works anymore
Everything in my workshop is broken
Destroyed by my own hand, but I have no will to repair it
Nothing works anymore
For one fleeting moment, everything was perfect
The planets aligned and the world was peaceful
But so quickly things return to chaos and hopelessness
Am I doomed to long for that perfection forever, never to achieve it again?
Of course it is my own fault, why wouldn't it be?
She offers me a hand, and I turn away
Preferring to suffer in silence
Irrationality should never be a common ground
I am far too codependent for my own good
And far too susceptible to the truth
Even my slightest failures haunt me
Words I'd wish I could take back
Problems I'll never be able to solve
Everyone I've disappointed
And everyone who will never accept me
I'm at a loss for words...apologies will never be enough
And some how through the nightmares
And the dreams that won't come true
Tomorrow holds a brighter future
Just as every day before
