Memories
We used to sit in our room and play with our toys.
We used to sit in our room and talk about how much we hated boys.
We protected each other and wouldn’t let anything happen to one another.
I had your back through it all and I was never going to let you fall.
Now we’re older and it’s nothing like when we were younger.
You sit in your room without your toys,
While I sit in my room with the boys.
We still protect one another but we are so far away from each other.
But no matter if you’re as far away as California,
You’re still my little sister.
I will always be there for you,
No matter where you go.
I’ll be there for you through it all,
And I’ll never let you fall.
