Some would say I was young and naive
They're not wrong, but I know my feelings were true
I was sick in love, insane in love, so lost in love with you
With just a word, a wave, a nod of the head
You would send me in a whirlwind of emotion, leave me lying awake in bed
I tried so hard, I ached, I knew
If I had a chance I'd be forever true
Now miles of sea and land ensure that we are apart
But I still picture you holding my hand, you still live eternally in my heart
