Your Kindness Requested
In silence or in submission
Pondering of life in suppression
Tears shed for those abandoned
Heart sent to all tormented
It’s not her fault she is a girl
Nor his the skin he has incurred.
Discrepancies to be respected
Human rights must be protected
Thirty years in the making
Millions it has taken
A tiny virus attacking
Causes the world to be shaken
From sunrise to sunset
With hard work and sweat
In abuse and harassment
They go without payment
Politics discarded
Differences neglected
Help must be granted
For now they are needed
I rise from my silence
Break free of submission
Voice my consideration
To provoke affection
