Basketball Hoop
I sit here still just like a tree not moving at all.
I watch my friends plat and shoot hoops on me.
I have a great backboard that helps them score.
I watch my family and friends drives pass me every day.
They don’t shoot hoops when it is dark it is time to go to bed.
They sometimes shoot the ball very hard it hurts my glass
but I will be okay at last.
People dunk the ball which makes the rim
vibrate for a couple of minutes but then I recover.
They slap the glass it hurts really bad like a cut on your finger instead
I don’t start bleeding.
So I guess it is dark right now so I have to go
I hope you will come again and shoot hoops
with me.
