A Disappointing Winter
The snow spirals down so soft and gentle,
All playful and plentiful, falls the flakes.
Each is so different, with their own subtle smiles,
As they land upon the several snow covered piles.
Their beauty and grace and how they fall at their own pace,
Leaves no trace now.
Don’t forget to admire them dearly,
Because this year we clearly did something wrong.
The flakes were not soft and gentle, they couldn’t be playful,
And they were definitely not plentiful.
Frowns were all they had when they hit dirt covered piles.
Their beauty and grace were obviously disgraced,
And this needs to change.
The winter is something to marvel at, as soon as it gets more attention.
So take a second to look out the window, look hard and be observant.
