My World vs. Your World
They say it all breaks down
To keeping your feet on the ground.
My sole intention,
Is keeping my head in the clouds.
They say that I can’t last a day in the real world,
I say you wouldn’t survive a night in mine.
My world is full of pain and loss,
Your world is just too easy.
You have had everything easy,
So you walk through life like you have it made.
But when you reach my world,
You’ll falter and fall and fail.
You don’t know how to handle this,
You don’t know what to do.
I float around, in the clouds,
In my head.
My world is full of monsters,
And you have only just begun.
This will never get any easier,
Stop your crying.
You have only just touched the surface,
The hardship has only just begun.
Do you understand now,
What I have told you?
What I have taught you?
It’s simple really.
They say it all breaks down
To keeping your feet on the ground.
My sole intention,
Is keeping my head in the clouds.
They say that I can’t last a day in the real world,
I say you wouldn’t survive a night in mine.
I adapt, I survive.
You, fail.
