Interpreting Our Thoughts
Creativity never bothered anybody with inane
Assumptions or idle thoughts,
It is brimming with unspoken miracles and masterpieces
Of our innermost soul, the one
We dare not expose
To anybody
In a less poetic form, lest they mock us for such
Abrasive truths and dramatic
Certainties,
Validation and confirmation of their own deprivations
Or worse still,
Their virtues empowered and made perfect
In another;
So we hide our instinctive, impulsive visionary selves
In a whirlwind
Of design and carefully articulated representation,
Beauty in and of itself, but still
Far from the original
Intent,
A mere image of your heart
And soul.
