It All Changes Now
Lights, camera and action,
the strobe lights come on,
the cameras start rolling,
for all the world IS a stage.
This organised chaos,
methodical insanity,
this psychotic reality.
I'm an actor, no more, I have no say,
In what I do, it's just a part I play.
All I want to do is let go.
But I have no choice, no will, no voice,
This is a part I must play.
But no more, I’m done.
I don't wAnt to play my part.
I lived it, without complaining,
But now I'm through,
I want a brand new start.
I don't want to live,
for when the director cries Cut!
I want to be in charge of myself.
I want the right, to live as I want,
not to be who I'm not.
