Before we enter the world so strange
We are already in a state of change
Inside our mothers’ wombs we sigh
Already knowing truth from lie
Though our minds are open, our fists are curled
Plotting out our destinies unfurled
And while we wait, we’re deep asleep
Listening for a secret to keep
