The fire is put out,
Ashes are now crumbling.
The ashes
Still filled with sorrow.
In the air
The people’s screams of their own ashes
Floating all around you,
Memories of life,
Of death,
And
Helplessness.
Frozen in fear,
With time frozen within them.
You can’t help but to cry.
It may have been one of your siblings.
I know you feel sorry
But
There was nothing you or I could do.
I am sorry to say this, they are gone
Forever in your heart they will be.
Ashes.
