My Schizophrenic World
Hello world.
I see you through my kaleidoscope.
A hodge podge of colors and shapes.
So pretty, but so far away.
Hello world.
I stand at the edge of my world and look into yours.
Your world is different from mine.
There are less people, less noise, less chaos.
No one is here with me, yet there are so many people.
No one says anything, yet everyone is talking.
I'm afraid to leave, but can't stand to stay.
Hello world.
I stand at the edge of my world and look into yours.
I see happiness and celebration,
I see struggle and hardship.
It's a simple world to me.
Hello me.
You stand at the edge of your world and look into mine.
You see nothing.
