Lover Of Mine

I had a lover once,
who eyes were a sky blue,
he was smart kind and gentle
and he made me laugh too.
Once we were always together
nothing could seperate us
and when we were apart, we always had our trust.
this was the love of youth, beautifully it had bloomed
little did we know, our love was always doomed.
As the time came and went
our love started to wither, even though our time together was well spent
And as all young people think we thought our love would stand against the test of time
But now you have become
an ex-lover of mine
