Enslaved and ashamed
In a guilt-ridden cage
See, a hero was needed to save
With once colorful wings drooping
And a soul torn apart
Someone come fix this broken heart
Silently as ever, Superman did fly
He came to the prison, bringing hope
By and by
Unlatching the door, and throwing
Away the key
Thank you, thank you, Superman
For setting this butterfly free
