The Last Day
Kon
19
Acted like a 2 year old when we let him out in the grass
A brown arabian
We had him for 8 years
He was sweet
He was papered
He got pneumonia
I was up every other hour to get him up
I slept in the barn to keep him company
He was not doing well, quickly going down hill
The next morning, call the vet
Say Goodbye to a sweet old friend
Got a bracelet from his main and tail to remember a dear 27 year old Friend

I wrote this poem for a final project for a creative writing class. This poem is about a horse I had to say Goodbye to.
