Stan Says
Stan says that he's all alone
He says the world doesn't know
About the pain he hides inside
That the smiles are just a lie
When it rains, drink your pain
And as you drown,
Don't make a sound
Don't let the world know you're done
Done being broken and abused
And Stan says
You never saw him crying as the sunlight
Hit his face
With his arms outstretched to the sky
Hoping for the rain
In a world where you feel love
He feels only pain
The colors of his mind
Gave color to his painting today
The stars held up his gray sky
Trying to twinkle together
And warm tears fill his eyes
Can you hear him breathing heavy
He hears your words in his mind
And he knows that you're here
You are here
And Stan says
You never saw him crying as the sunlight
Hit his face
With his arms outstretched to the sky
Hoping for the rain
In a world where you feel love
He feels only pain
And Stan says
You never saw him crying as the sunlight
Hit his face
With his arms outstretched to the sky
Hoping for the rain
In a world where you feel love
He feels only pain
