Favorite Quote:
-The brightest future will always be based on the forgotten past
- It takes who you are and where you've been to make the person you are today
-As one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person
-To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail

To live, to die
I don't want to see the world through their eyes
'Cause their world is nowhere in a desert
Will their voices ever be heard

Invisible children
Will they ever be seen?
Invisible children
Facing their horrors with screams
Invisible children
Can we see the unseen?
Invisible children
To them, the world is mean

No food, no water
For sons and daughters
They have scary dreams everyday
They say, does anyone know we're here
They just live their lives in fear

Invisible children
Will they ever be seen?
Invisible children
Facing their horrors with screams
Invisible children
Can we see the unseen?
Invisible children
To them, the world is mean

We have to say a prayer
'Cause it hurts to be nowhere
Thinking life's not fair
I know they're out there
We need to help them out
So they can find out what a good life's all about

Invisible children
Will they ever be seen?
Invisible children
Facing their horrors with screams
Invisible children
Can we see the unseen?
Invisible children
To them, the world is so mean
Invisible children
Invisible children
Invisible children

The author's comments:
This poem is about people that have it difficult in life in being homeless. Children deserve to come home to a home everyday, and enough food and water. It's tough out there, but they deserve to get help.
