Smile Becaue You Can
Smile because it's Friday and you know somewhere in South Texas there is a football game on tonight.
There's a football team getting pumped with the same speech coach always says before big games.
There's a mom waiting to see her only son play his first varsity football game.
And there is a band and dance team who couldn't be more prepared.
Smile because you can.
Smile because there are men and women fighting for you freedom, and doing so with pride.
There's a father coming home to see his baby girl for the first time.
There's a little boy who gets to play catch with his dad this summer.
And there's a mother who gets to see her son graduate the 3rd grade.
Smile because you can.
Smile because you just found out that your crush like you and no matter how hard you trying this smile isn't going away.
There's a boy and a girl who have just shared there first kiss.
There's a man and a woman who have just met there soul mate at a bus stop.
And there's a woman whose about to get asked the biggest question of her life.
Smile because you can.
Smile because you got to school today and took the liberty of smiling at you first.
Your friend who had a fight with his parents last night. he put it behind him and woke up a new person.
Your English teacher couldn't sleep last night, so he drank a few cups of coffee and smiled just for you.
And the girl in your history class smiled when she saw you walk trough the door.
Smile because you can.
Smile because the Lord decided to give you another day on his wonderful creation we call home.
You get to laugh another day and experience happiness.
You have the ability to improve yourself by one whole day.
And just because someone else decided not to smile today doesn't mean you should, too.
Smile Because you can.
