Untitled 2
I broke his heart just yesterday
He looked at his shoes, and I walked away
Pessimist blood flowing is not new
in the end, the sun always shines through
Put my toes into the broken glass sand
Looked around and declared “this is our land”
Taking advice from graffiti on the walls
Run around, being free, not afraid to fall
When the clocks hands move way too fast
Turns out as we change nothing lasts
Can’t sit around and watch the images sing song
Won’t lay down, gotta keep moving on
Bicycle chains imprinting the earth
Picked them up, dusted off for what its worth
Gave it to a friend, made her laugh awhile
Its true, nothings better than a smile
WHen the clocks hands move way too fast
Turns out as we change nothing lasts
Can’t sit around and watch the images sing song
Won’t lay down gotta keep moving on
Anarchy a dream of not to be
Looking past everything you can’t see
every is an impossible fresh start
Its amazing how easily we’re torn apart
When the clocks hands move so fast
Turns out as we change nothing lasts
Can’t sit around and watch the images sing songs
Won’t lay down, gotta keep moving on
