Colors
I walk this earth hated.
As I reminisce how black people was once segregated.
Meanly this song is dedicated to my mother.
Who once loved me like no other.
When you’re hated, discriminated, segregated.
Girls want to dis you.
When you get a little money then they start to miss you.
Brothers never want to see other brothers shine.
So that’s why they always want to bring them down.
While we’re thinking about how to get paid.
Others thinking about how to get laid.
Money makes the world go around.
So I suggest you avoid staying underground.
To me opinions aren’t facts.
Plus I know God always have my back.
She was mixed and I was black.
Her friends made fun of me just for that.
Even my mother and brother.
I’m in a world where I am hated and damn well still discriminated.
Well my skin isn’t nothing but a color.
But forget her because I’m with another.
Love isn’t anything but a feeling.
But all it does is leave you healing.
I love you three words that are always spoken.
No one every comprehends the meaning so it’s always broken.
