The world’s mindset

Still is so fatal
Segregation? Women’s rights?
Yeah still not equal
This is a man’s world
White to be exact
Peace on Earth?
Still not intact
The laws you say?
Not all abide
We can try and try
But the WHOLE world?
I’ll keep that in mind
People are trying
Yet some are so mute
Do you all not realize?
I bleed red too
We’re all the same
Routine and all
I put my pants on one leg at a time
Just like you
“We can make a difference,
Together” they say.
When will it start?
The day people realize
We’re equal at heart.
