You Made Me What I Am Today
All my friends made me what I am today
I know no fear, a cut above the rest
They love me and I’ve made my pay
Look past my eyes and I know I’ll do my best
Courage, love, and try, and loyalty too
I know the others want to see me die
No matter what I’ll pay my due for you
Will I see you sitting idly by?
I would wear the praise they gave me like a crown
I am always there, never a waiver
I’m sure there were times I’ve let you down
Joy would come if you return the favor
I know we will always be together
No matter the storm, or the weather
