X Kings
Each time the doorbell rings, a jolt shakes my heart
It could be you, but it's not; it never is
It's someone else and I can't believe I miss you like this
I saw you today and it jolted my heart
Missing you is pulling me apart
It's like I'm the pork and you're the fork
And guess what's for dinner
That's right, pulled pork
My heart on a fork
I want to know if I texted, would you reply
Or would you ignore me like I'm a pesky fly
Dinner isn't going to taste great tonight
My heart's a little soured to your bite
Each time the doorbell rings, it's just another guest
