Nicki Minaj Concert Review 

I enjoy going to concerts.When my friends and I planned to go to Nicki Minaji a couple months ago, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I don’t usually listen to her music and my friends know more songs. But I was excited to go for the experience. It was also my friend's 17th birthday so we wanted to celebrate and do something fun for her birthday.  I have been to more country concerts than pop concerts so I was excited to see her perform.  

The concert was on a Saturday night at Fiserv Forum. Fiserv was packed, lines for food and drinks were very long which was a little hectic and I didn’t like that. When we got to our seats they had upbeat music playing while everyone was waiting for Nicki to come out. They even had a DJ come out which was a lot of fun because it got the crowd excited for Nicki. 

But—It took around an hour for her to come out. Everyone started to get impatient. I think they should've added more entertainment before her so the crowd wouldn’t get so annoyed waiting for her.  

I thought it was cool how the theme of what to wear was pink because of her album Pink Friday. Everyone at the concert was wearing pink and when Nicki came out to perform each of her outfits had pink added into it. I loved how many times she changed her outfits and each one was different from the other. One of my favorite outfits was when she played her song “Barbie World,”she had a long pink wig on and a sparkly pink dress. The songs were upbeat and the crowd was dancing along with Nicki and the backup dancers. That was a highlight of the night. 

I had so much fun singing and dancing with my friends, I really enjoyed the concert and I loved how Nicki kept everyone excited and the vibes going the whole time. I loved how she danced with the back up dancers, each song had their own dances that they planned out and the crowd went crazy when Nicki would join in and dance with them. 

I wish she played a couple more of her popular songs that I knew, for example “Bang Bang” I really like and she never got to play that which was disappointing. 

but at the end of it I enjoyed my experience at the concert.
