Too Far Gone
He always said I was beautiful.
He Said I could be magical
he said he’d be my friend
until the very end
He always stayed by my side,
Through every fight,
to the dead of night,
when he answered a call
that didn't matter at all
He always guided me
and helped me see,
the things that were too good to be.
He always said I was strong
and I did belong
“The world is a big place” he’d say,
“but you’ll hold it in your hand one day.”
He always said he would be there
a shoulder to cry on, my savior in despair
When I felt like breaking
he was never shaky
Taking my hand,
we would make a stand
until the day he lied came
and I was never the same
The day he left is the day I lost my mind.
The hour he left I cried.
The minute he left I screamed
I was forever changed
But the second he left I was already to far gone

I was inspired by when I was asked to write a scenario of two people fighting and this came out.
